Lavoit started when our founder Nils began building electrolyzers at the age of 14. By 16, after winning a scholarship but being turned down by a university lab, he moved to his grandparents' farm where he renovated a henhouse and built his own lab. That determination laid the foundation for what Lavoit is today.

Today we are a team of six people. Our engineers, scientists, and operators are focused on one thing: making hydrogen production scalable, affordable, and real. We build complete hydrogen systems – hardware and software designed together – to cut the cost of green hydrogen by up to 60%, with the ambition to become the world's largest hydrogen producer by 2030.
